Proposed Design

If we accept that design means offering a different answer to existing problems, this concept held little importance in the 20th century — a century focused on quantitative rather than qualitative development after two world wars. However, the central challenge of the 21st century is qualitative development, which makes the role of design more vital than ever.
This booklet is a proposal for holding an international event in the field of design — an initiative to harness the power of design for development.
