Minimuseum

The “Mini-Museum” project focuses on designing prefabricated modules that share a common formal “gene.” Each module can embody the unique characteristics of its neighborhood, while documenting, like a small interactive museum, the issues, memories, and records of that area’s development. The connection of these modules through virtual space creates a conceptual network of physical spaces.

Many cities around the world, especially in developing countries, are facing rapid urban growth. As a result, cities are expanding, bringing with them a range of new challenges.
Today, museums and exhibitions — spaces for cultural exchange and the acquisition of knowledge — have become centralized within cities, making them inaccessible to the majority of citizens. If these centralized spaces were to be divided and distributed throughout the city, public access and engagement would increase significantly. Consequently, citizens could connect with their city, with one another, and even with the world in a much shorter time.
